We use your information to operate and improve Staira, process purchases, send transactional emails, personalise your feed and recommendations, verify that you meet our minimum age requirement, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We share data with service providers who help us operate Staira, including payment processors (Paystack), cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), email providers (Resend), and analytics tools. All providers are contractually required to protect your data.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Staira is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and we verify this at profile creation using your date of birth. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will remove the account and its data.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on the platform or sending an email to your registered address.
